RPM are good meaty items. I have also found that the Schumacher items are also good and not as bulky.

Schumacher's are indeed the best, but they won't fit your Tamiya unless you get 3/32" ball studs.
I think that the best bet for tamiya is the "low friction" gray ball cups from Tamiya. They snap on pretty hard, but develop a little slop quickly. The black Tamiya ones are pretty bad.

I only used RPM ones when I had my FT TC4. They seemed to work well.

Schumacher Ball Grippas are the way to go.
