Default All-alloy Losi XXX-S

Hey there! New to the forum, just thought i'd post my car. (if in the wrong section apologies!)

I've had the car for about 3 years now, originally circuit raced it indoors and out for a year in its Graphite + state, but after a short break away from the racing and having an interest in the drift side of things, decided to totally remake it!

I know that, from a practical point of view all the mods make no difference really what so ever, but i've done the car as more of a personal thing rather than anything else. I don't really race competition wise anymore so it's just something to have a play with at the weekend!

anyways enough of my talking, here's some pics.

P.S if anyone knows of any other alloy mods available...

-Mark

is that a s15 front end and the windshield back is a 240 shell?

it looks like you cut them and stuck it together

thanks for the comments!

Yeah i drift, i'll go check out that topic cheers.

As for Alloy and Carbon, the majority came through eBay, although the likes of bodyposts came from Dynamite RC who do a ton of XXX-S Hop Ups, well did anyway.

The S15 is the Yokomo HKS Hiper S15 shell, as for the orange one it's an S15 front on the Yokomo 180SX shell.

It's not finished, in those pictures it's only held together with tape hence the gaps, just thought it'd be something a little different

Yeah i always use the Yoko drift tyres, i've tried ABS but prefer the yoko's as they keep a little bit of grip, and with running a 12.x2 motor if it understeers i can just whack the power on

I used a normal hand held camera, selotaped to one side of the chassis!! Interesting handling to say the least, and a little dangerous lol
