Default Red & Blue all alloy & graphite Losi XXX-S

Someone communicated to me that they thought the red & blue Losis were actually the same car w/ some pics being Photoshopped into being a different color. here are some side by sides of my son's cars, please note the different parts used in different areas

Thumbs up All Alloy Lossi XXX-S w/ Alloy wheels

We have been fascinated with wider showy rims and tires, especially if you can find them in alloy. Here the red & blue Losis are wearing Hot Racing black anodized CNC'd alloy rims in 33mm wide front http://www.hot-racing.com/index.cgi?...LPW33M01;c=107 and 36mm wide rears http://www.hot-racing.com/index.cgi?...LPW36M01;c=107 They come with rubber slicks attached :

We've found using 200mm bodies or Parma bodies or generic R/C fender flares available over the internet and even made our own fender flares work to cover these fatties

These are the bearings you want in order to utilize the Tamiya hub with the Losi axles http://bearingsdirect.com/fr-series-...-shielded.html just remember to keep the flanged side of the bearing toward the inside, so insert the flanged ends in first inner and outer to put the flanges back to back. If the bearings don't fit tight enough I'll give you suggestions for very minor shimming

Thumbs up Aluminum & Graphite Losi XXXS

OK, My son just took off for Cornell and won't be back until winter break and left this mess on the Family/ Hobby room table. Sooooo, I guess I'll try ti finish piecing it together for him but HE has to solder and wire the thing.
The chassis is the bottom one, referred to as the "Lesser Red" Losi, it's big brother is on the working stand behind it.

Here's an over view of the mess

This 3.5T motor is going in like in the other Red and the Blue Losi XXXS all all have a FDR of 9:1

Hears other motor accessories , bearings , etc.

Wish me luck, I'll post some group beauty shots when the roller is done
