Default V2 Brush Break

Bought a set of Schumacher V2 brushes from the LHS. I asked about the difference between the peak and schumacher brushes, he said none. The peak has 30-50 wrote on (i assume runs) and the schumachers 10-30. Whe I tried to install the schumacher brushes, the brush faces "crumbled" off very easily. Im going to see the guy tonight. Is this my fault or a poor brush?

'Crumble' - the only time I have seen something like that is when the brush wasn't put in properly and edge of the brush face got caught.

All the V2 brushes come from the same source, so there is no difference between tose packaged as Orion, Peak, Schumacher, Fantom or whoever.

The 30-50 are probably enduros en the others sprint brushes.

They tend to crumble easily but not if used correctly.
Maybe you got the endbell off without properly securing the brushes fully in the brush tube?
