TC chassis empty weights
Just trying to compile a list of empty weights of various cars for comparison purposes. No electronics/wheels/shell but everything else. This list may come in handy if you already have a set of electronics and want to choose a chassis that will come close to the min weight for your chosen class.

Please don't forget to specify material (carbon, alloy) and version of the lower deck. It affects on the total weight noticeably.

If anyone has a roller chassis of any type lying around and a set of scales please contribute, I'm struggling to find accurate info online.
Associated TC 7.2 Factory Team (standard carbon chassis) = 508g (weight from tower hobbies website)

I don't have any assembled car with me at the moment but my CAD data show 473g with the 35 g steel ST135 chassis stiffener for kit's A800X EVO with 2,2mm carbon chassis. So 438 g without stiffener. Note the alloy spool and alloy diff, both with steel outdrives on the car at thus.

Associated tc4 rtr(plastic chassis+steel hardware/diffs): 635grams......

Xpress xq1s club racer. Plastic components and fiber glass chassis. Full length body post, double jointed front axles, front and rear sway bars with x ray xtra stiff servo saver with no wheels weights 567 grams. No idea how much the x ray servo saver weight. Without it might put it more inline with the sakura advance Evo 2k18

TA07MS with standard graphite chassis plate, optional aluminium diff, aluminium front pulley, lightweight spool outdrives, standard servo saver and Ti/Al screw set: 540 gr.

List updated, thanks for the data. Interesting to see the huge difference between certain chassis.
With the new 1320g weight limit you're going to need a chassis that's no more than about 530g to come close to the limit when loaded up with a 6400 battery, and that's with no ballast!

Seems like 550grams is the norm for the lower cost chassis. I honestly thought they would be lighter given they use more plastic vs machined alloy components
