Razzor,

They are at the Roar Carpet Nationals in Omaha, Nebraska. There is a thread stickied to the top on the Electric main forum page. There is a link to Liverc.com which shows you the laptimes while they are racing. You can go to the site now and see results. It appears to be slightly messed up right now. Is that what you were looking for?

HTH,
Steve

I've got a one-way in at the moment but do have a spool. I run carpet rubber, would running the spool be better?

For me, the spool runs great on carpet/rubber. Loads of steering and stable with it. But I can't get along with one-ways at all.

Here is oz spools are quite the norm these days from stock upwards. You can generate the same steering but you have more options with brakes available. It is a bit like brushless... Once you start using it, you wonder why you didn't use it sooner!

Is there any posted information about the Hacker motors?

We were playing with the original Hacker motors and controllers a good 5 years ago, they were awesome for their time, but i have not heard anything from them in quite a while.

Also what speedies was Josh using to run them?

Congrats from my end of the line also, its fantastic to see the Scythe getting the results and credibility it deserves.

Very much looking forward to the larger meets here in Aus to see if we can get some results for the Top Team here also.

Cheers,

Robbie

PS: any pics of the TOP racers and cars from the event???

Default 08 Nats

Thanks everyone!

I want to congratulate Josh again for winning the 19 turn class (Super Stock) against a tough field. Definitely a job well done! He's putting a race report together and will post it when he has time.

Finishing Order

Cyrul, Josh (1)
Darroch, Ray (1)
Ellis, Andrew (1)
Hebert, Keven (1)
Hohwart, Rick (1)
Dayger, Jeff (1)
Schreven, Travis (1)
Bradley, TJ (1)
Shank, Darren (1)
Rossi, Steve (1)

Jason and I did pretty well in 13.5 rubber class. In the third A main I caught the leader when he put it into the board. We tangled when he was trying to turn his car around, so I ended up finishing up 3rd in that main and 3rd overall. Jason's car was very good (better then mine), I'm sure he'll post his setup when he has time.

Finishing Order

Hohnstein, Josh (1)
Stanton, Brian (1)
Evans, E.J. (1)
Ertrachter, Jason (1)
Howard, Matthew (1)
Aveytia, Juan (1)
Ehrlich, Dave (1)
Taskila, Jari (1)
Simon, Scott (1)
Witteman, Mitch (1)

We also had two guys in the B in 13.5. Overall pretty good results in the 2008 ROAR Carpet Nationals. I'll post some pics soon.
