upper bulk heads
Hi
Can someone tell me if the inner camber link on the top plastic bulkhead is the same height as the alloy one? Just wondering if I need to make any adjustment the spacers under the ball stud to make them the same height so the roll centre stays the same?
Thanks

Hi !
Im running the Gold Standard Edition and a Red Full Options (including 2.5mm U.S. Spec Chassis + 2.5mm Topdeck). (Some Pictures soon of the Red Edition)
Im running my Standard Scythe in Viol, too .. like Patrick ... but the Standard Scythe is to flexy for this High Grip Carpet. I see he has all Alloy Parts, it's much stiffer
I think 2.5° Toe-Out at the Front Brakes with One-Way ... better to use 1,5° or 0° ... 0° on High Grip and 1,5° on Low Grip
Me and my Team want to test all Toe-Out Possibilities, soon
@ 3rd-dan
Some Pics of the Red Edition soon :P ... I driving the Gold and Red Edition in Standard Class. Next week, i'm not in Althengstett but my Teammates are there
@ MadBrushRacing
I think they have the same height... but i didn't check this exactly

Hi Izzy,
My Car was really stable , no problems with too much steer , no grip rol and even the dots where no problem. Other people noticed too that my car was really stable too drive. And yes it's got almost all alu parts. The car was undesteered a lot with the stabi's while my xray T2 seems comfortable with the stabi's indoor.
I did have no time yet to train but i was thinking what the difference is between the 2.5 and 1.5 blocks in front. How will this influence the car behaviour ? Maybe stupid question but no mather what block you use you always bring the toe in setting to around 0.5 / 0 Degree with the steering turn buckles ?
Thanx in advance
Cheers
Patrick

Hi Patrick
The 2.5 toe mount would be more likely to make your car want to grip roll. More outboard toe increases turn-in bite, but slows the rotation of your car. Indoors, 1.5-1 seems good on medium grip carpet.
Yes, always stick to those toe-in angles on the steering links, then you'll know what changes the suspension mounts make

Yes, Ali is right =)
2,5° inboard Toe-Out at Carpet Tracks seems to much. Viol Carpet is a High Grip Carpet and 2,5° will bite there. Try 1,5° or 0°...
But now, some Pics of my Scythe.

Yeah, you're right
But i haven't longer Screws
Before the Scythe, i was driving Yokomo BD ... The BD uses longer Screws and self locking nuts.
Maybe i can order some Yokomo Screws .. =) ^^

roll bars
Are the rollbars used the cyclone ones?
Izzy
How did you get to use wishbone spacers on your red car?
Thanks

The Rollbars are "normal" T.O.P. Scythe 1.4mm Rollbars.
If you use the U.S. Spec Chassis, you need longer Hinge Pins, because the length from Susp. Mount to Susp. Mount is longer ... but so you can use Spacers

The red kit looks awesome !!!
I hope to have my kits by weekend.
Anyone have a asphalt/foam tyre setup that I can start from and any other tips would be welcome.
Hope to have the thicker chassis and braces too ,as we only race on asphalt with foam tyres ,rubber died years ago.i think only tamiya stock class runs rubber these days.
