I have never driven a Mi2...but I am really happy with my JRXS.

Judging by which way all the manufactors are going with the drivetrain the
MI2 has the better drive train.
The JRX-S "central chassis" hasnt really caught on.

I have had an Mi2 and an EC and some of my friends of similar ability drive JRXS'. Indoors on carpet using rubber tyres - My new EC is much quicker, but the JRXS is leaps and bounds ahead of the standard Mi2 even with all the hop ups. Just my opinion you understand. Outside there wasn't much difference really, but the JRXS just seemed to be more consistant than the Standard Mi2. I haven't run the EC outside yet but i'm sure it will go well there too. My advice - save up for an EC!
Hope it helps

I have no experience driving a Schuie car, but everyone seems to say that the EC is much better than the older Mi2, which would lead me to thinking that the JRXS would be better than the Mi2 as well, as I think the EC came up to the playing field of the JRXS.

Schumacher seems to be getting back into things in a big way, and it will more then likely be a competitive car. I love my JRXS though, fits my driving style a lot better then any other car I have driven...

I race a Mi2(not EC) and my teamate runs a JRX-S we run the same motors and have both driven each others cars and have come to the conclusion they are both fast but the JRX-S is easier to drive fast and is much more consistant and has fantastic turn in so I am thinking of trading the shumi in soon.

Schumacher have been in business for over 25 years. We are having a great year and have never been in danger of going out of business! There is more to the R/C business than just racing. We have just released 3 new cars in the last 3 months with 2 more new releases to follow.

Kid, dont get caught up in the idea that car x over car y will magically make you faster....tracktime and understanding of your car and how to tune it for given conditions is what will truly make you better.
The car you have is plenty quick enough
