Default TAMIYA FF02 Help

hi there guys
i have bought a tamiya ff02 and i am going to strip it down and clean and rebuild. just asking if anyone has any tips or advice or a manual for me would be very helpful

i cant see it on the site but probley some will have one

The FF02 looks similar to the Mini Cooper (M03 series) so you may want to start there. I've never owned a FF02 so.......

thank you very much for the link its working out a treat, also have you/anyone got a link to a free ff02 manaul because the other link doesnt work

Hmmmm............. the link works for me. It's a 4MB file so it may take a while to load depending on your connection speed. You also need to have Adobe to open it.

planning to race in a FWD class? if you are, i guess the best tip is for you to put it back on ebay and get yourself one of the newer FF cars available. The FF02's gearing is very limited and not suitable for today's brushless power plants...

The FF02 is essentially a big M03, a lot of the tips here can be of use to you:

(but not the shock length)

Also, the gear ratio is limited, but you can change the 37 tooth spur for a 36 or 33 tooth, which then allows you to run 3 or 4 larger pinions. With these options you can get up to 10 different gear ratios ranging from 7.24:1 to 4.31:1
