Default Motor Break-In

got a new reedy quad spec 19t, whats best way to break this in and how?

It really depends on the brush...Like Orion spirits take forever...
767's take abotu 5 minutes @2v
well almost any Reedy brush...is 5 mintures at 2V

How long on 1v?

Can you get more out of the motor by breaking it inn difrently?

Every motor needs sufficient time for break in for maximum performance. Are you talking about the Reedy Ti edition? or Cobalt 2 ? Those are the only 2 silver can motors I know of.

sorry to hijack, but I meant Mabuchi motor silver cans, the ones that came with the Tamiya Mini M03. I dont even know if you can replace the brush on those

yes on my silver brushes on a set of BRAND NEW 1s, i put them in a run it a 1v for 10min

He means stock silver cans that can't be opened.
I run mine untill the brushes sit flush against the comm. It normally takes 30-50 hours at 5v
