Alright i got a chance to have a full day of set-up time with the car on carpet and i have a really good set-up at the moment.

Front:

camber: -2deg
camber link position: inside row 2nd hole from top
castor: 4deg
toe: 0deg
ridehieght: 5mm
droop: 3mm
arm mounts: 3.0 front arm blocks
roll center: 1.5mm roll center spacers
shocks: 35wt oil /2-hole hb pistons/ hpi silver springs
shock position: #4 on tower / #2 on arm
swaybar: green 1.4mm
steering rack: middle hole w/2mm spacer
steering knuckles: front hole w/2mm bumpsteer spacer

notes:arms spaced all the way back (short wheelbase setting)
.5mm hex spacing



Rear:

camber:-2.5 deg
camberlink position: inside top hole on the tower/ outside hole on hub with .5mm spacer under ball.
toe: -3deg
ride hieght: 5mm
droop: 3mm
roll center: 1.5mm roll center shims
shocks: 35wt oil/ 2-hole hb piston / hpi blue spring
shock position : #2 hole on tower #2 hole on arm.
swaybar: purple 1.3mm

notes: arms spaced all the way back (long wheelbase setting)
soft arms used.

body: hb subaru type "A"

tires: SWEEP QTS 32

can be mounted the new stearing system on current chassis?, and do you know if motor mount position have been changed in order to avoid to dismantle top deck when you have to change the pinion?

the car in the pics is a current avid v2 with bolt on pieces so yes they can be mounted on the current car. and if you look closely in the pic you can see that the screw access is better on the motor mount. lets hope they come out with this stuff soon.

really diggin the new sway bar mounts. wouldnt mind the new bellcranks too!

just so you all know the set-up i posted above with using the sweep qts 32 tires on carpet changes people lives!!! its not a joke haha.

these are pre production pieces so it will be a little bit as they have to be tested so be patient. but they are cool but it looks like the stock chassis on that car and not a lipo chassis i think ? but im sure there is one in the works so cant wait!

Hello Guys

Yes on the ETS Shasa use a lot of the new LP Parts. The LIPO Chassi was not ready, it was a little mistake on the preproduction sample, no hole for the Differential...
Shasa use the new steering system, the one piece swaybar holder and new axles on the rear side.
The car was very fast, to fast, too much grip... the problem was traction roll, we need the thicker swaybars and the hard suspension arms... shasa and i forget the parts at home.
I hope for a better result on the next ETS race with the new LIPO Chassisplate and motormount :-)

thicker sway bars could help but actually stiffening the suspension doesnt do anything to help traction roll. i was running practically the same chassis set-up as him looking at the pics and my car was traction rolling all over the place and the problem was alot of it with the use of the 2.5mm roll center shims as the higher roll center reduces roll and puts maximum load on the tires causing you to traction roll along with too stiff of a shock set-up. you need to let the chassis roll in the corners and allow the suspension to do all the work and take the load off the tires.

i went to the set-up i posted above and the car is amazing and no traction rolling also and no need to CA the sidewalls of the front tires.

also in my set-up i shifted the entire wieght of the car forward 2mm by running the front arms and rear arms all the way back and this helps with not transfering so much wieght to the front of the car in the turns (as the wieght is already there) and causing the car to get unsettled and traction roll and it feels more stable and easier to drive.

same with running the rear link so long in my set-up it really makes the rear feel more stable and locked in. with out feeling too locked in if you get what im saying.

give that set-up a try and then come back and share how it went!

Out of curiousity what is different about the rear axles? the sway bar holders look really good! im curious about the geometry of the new bellcranks. it would be nice to move them forward on the chassis to shift more wieght forward ! but would like to try them once available.

From the looks of picture #17 looks like they moved the bellcranks back on the chassis.
