yes i saw the wieghts which is awesome . my avid in its currently likes to be set-up with more wieght forward so since the battery on the new chassis is moved up 4mm and still have the ability to move seperate wieghts forward as well will be a great tuning aid.

I like the idea of the new diff . should be able to keep the diff loose without slipping.

I would like to see the motor mount more. do you have any pics of the new motor mount?

are those sway bar ends going to be on the lp car or are those hot bodies parts?

also are there still plans for a gear diff?

First off very classy of you to call me a idiot, I hope we can hang out sometime and talk about it, if you happen to look at my profile you would see I am in Ohio so have no idea if someone ran there or not. It is not my team I am a part of the US team true but it isn't like we all hang out together so when someone makes a statement about the car doing good and testing and racing results I have no reason to think it is a false statement. Just in the future try to count to 10 and take some deep breaths before you type as I assure you I am not the one that looks like the idiot, is makein a word? Well that is probably enough negative talk to deal with for now so I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Default Avid V2 In Spain

Hi all !!!

I'm Miguel Moreno, from Spain, new in this forum but not like reader... I run with Avid V2 since 4 month, last year like official pilot from other team and I want to say CONGRATULATIONS for this job !!!!

Sasha really Incredible job!!!! I can see This New Chassis provides more center mass and I hope more flexion as Smokem chassis....whai is the width 2,25mm?

How many batteries can you do with this new Diff ? Have more ball elements? maybe 2.5 mm?...

What is the grease you use ? I'm using Schumacher diff grease...

Thanks for all I hope we can buy it as soon as possible !!!

Best regards from Spain

Miguel

hii miguel :-)

thanks!
i will post some new pictures next week.
today arrived another steering unit to test, beacuse we want the perfect one ! :-)

but theres not much time anymore for the release date :-)!

the chassis is 2.5mm which im using.
the flex is very good!
more than smokem...

with the new diff i can rund up to 30 batteries in modified and that on carpet.
were having 16 3mm balls and new 1.5mm thick diff washers.
youre now also dont have to youse any clip, you have now a nut where you can put in the thrust bearing and easy screw it in.
very easy and nice :-)

i got a trick for the old diff for that it runs smoother, you only have to flip the washers of the thrust bearing that you have a flat surface, then its also working much better because when you tight the diff and the bearing is not perfectly centered the balls are not running free and in line so its not running very well, try it and you will see and feel a bigggggggg difference.

for the thrust bearing im always using associated black grease and for the diff balls and plates that one from corally, its working best for me.
when youre diff is running a bit to strong, u can put a bit of oile inside of it.

when youre having another questions, just ask ;-)

Great to see the new Avid is on its way to completion, when will they be on sale?
As for diff grease i have been using high temp bearing grease lasts a long time and no melting.
Steven.
And a HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL.
