I noticed in a few of the pics that they have foam tyres on it. I wonder if it is stiff enough for foams on carpet?

not sure I seen the same thing I can't tell if the chassis is thicker for the foam car or not ..when I get mine I will post what I find..

you need to talk to axial people, they might be able to help you. I 've talked to them about scalpel parts.

I did they don't have them yet ....put it this way I called Robitronic and they said they have part's and were shipping them to dealers well all the dealers they told me to call do not have any and said they were told they were not in yet so,I got the run around I wonder if theres a shop overseas that may have some????????

tower hobbies says they will have the car, but also have no parts. I want to race this car during the outdoor season, hopefully someone will have part by then.

I love the look of this car but there appear to be a few design features that are a few years out of date, such as diff access and roll centre adjustment. However it looks like the ball diff uses much larger diff plates, i assume are similar to the big diff rings of the latest 12th scale cars.

This is someting i would love al TC's to adopt.

diff access....I have had every car to date before and after the bulk heads and as a stock rubber racer only I feel I had no need to pull the diff everyother race to re-build .... roll center I do like the way it is same as my 415,stallion and HB the only car I feel needed change was the corally rdx and I c now it has....I get the Avid today and will run it tonight ..

well I built the car today and ran it tonight and wow the car was hooked up! I only made 2 changes moved the frt shocks in 1 hole and changed the rear of the front blocks from the kit 3 and 3 to 3 and 2 ...now every car i ever put on my local track has been loose it's 1st run every car!!!!Tell u what I have a good size race @ trackside this weekend stock rubber and if this car runs like it did tonight I will buy the foam car as soon as I can ......few dis likes the shocks r somewhat a pain to match the bladder is like its too big ,top motor screw,u can't get to it clean I need to find a ball end hex,the sway bars r in the way of the droop screws,they also don't give u any extra e clips,
1 of my dog bone's is bent I didn't hit 1 thing all night and a lot of play in the steering bit more than other's or the same as my 415mxs...all in all a good car we will c how I do this weekend
