Spring 2010... that's not bad at all. How is the development of the car coming along? Is it considering the LiPo battery in its design? Or is the chassis going to only accept a certain kind of LiPo battery?
Do you have any pictures of the AVID 2 in its current form? Are you driving the AVID 2?

I've been in touch with one of the designer yesterday and he said me that the AVID2 was very closed to be released!! But he didn't me a date!! So be patient, it's coming

harry thats all they told me nothing more. i dont have any pics of it and no i am not driving the avid 2 yet because they wont be available till spring.

Yeah all that stuff is posted earlier in this thread. I think in only 5 pages back.
For now, I will be running the Xray T3 Sedan and turn my current car into a FOAM car since that is what handles best on carpet for these cars.
When the AVID 2 is released to the USA, if it is, we'll see what happens. If the designers pass up the opportunity to make the car be LiPo friendly, their new car will not survive at all, while other manufacturers are already LiPo friendly cars with little to NO modifications.
