Happy St Patty's Day Yeti!

Is ti May 1st yet?

I've brewed up some more noobish questions.

I've spoken to some locals about the race and they advised the following:
1. Bring full spare car
2. New set of tires for each qual, practice tires and then one set for the mains
3. 2 solid color bodies (1 for practice and 1 for quals) then one decked out body for the main
4. New packs prett much along the same lines as the tires new pack for each qual.
And I think that's it...

Some people locally agreed other said he was pulling my chain. I just want to know... I know I'm not winning the A main but I would like to be as competitive as I could possibly be.

Thanks in advance,
Rudy

I can see a few things that could take place in addition to racing..

Poker Tourney? isn't it still on. Bowling Tourney? sure. Bingo Tourney... how old are we again?

1. There is a full hobby shop on the premises or at least there was last year. YOU could bring your own parts if you are gonna be strapped for cash. I only recall breaking one part last year and had that part in my box already. I also ran two cars so I was good to go if something went wrong.
2. I can't really answer that one till I know what you plan on running, foam or rubber. I personally ran rubber and had four sets, two practice then the other two for mains. I can't speak for foam. I will probably buy more tires for the mains this year only because of the inserts changin my ride height everytime I went through tech.
3.Unless you are a team sponsered driver I would not bother myself with that many bodies. There is no concourse event there or at least there was not last year.
4.I ran the same packs for qualifying as well as mains, but I had, have really good packs. Again, unless you are a sponsered driver I would not stress over this either. Just buy some new packs if you feel you are in need of them.

Just plan on coming to LV to have fun and don't worry about being like a factory driver with new tires and batteries every round. There is a reason they do that for they are SPONSERED!!

All that is available within a 2 minute walk almost anywhere in Vegas. There was a lot of Monster and Red Bull flowing last year.

Default Room reservations group rate number?

I want to make my hotel reservations now.

Is there a group rate number to supply the hotel when making such?

Many thanks.

We probably won't get that until the race registration opens.

Hi All,
Keep checking back, we will have the South Coast reservation code very soon. The South Coast is getting everything set up on their end and as soon as we get the code, we will let you know.

Thanks,
John
