Yeah, I like the graphite ones...I have never broken an arm on the thing though, so I'm not so worried.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the tips. So far, everything's looking good. The only problem found so far is a leaky front shock.

Speaking of shocks, anybody heard of "pentagon" shocks? That's what's loaded on there now, but I might replace them with Associated VCS shocks...

Anyways, I ran it in front of my house, and everything seems all good. I'm running a Reedy stock motor right now, and I'm already itching to drop in a 10 or 12 turn for kicks and giggles...

Oh, one more question: where do y'all get parts for the Yokes? I saw that you can order them off their website, but does anybody go through Towerhobbies or their LHS?

Later,

Loki

Razzo, With those wind motors, 3000's would pretty much be a MUST. And I know you guys aren't running cheap packs either... So, I think I'll just keep running Stock Sedan, and Stock 1/12 for awhile, and when I've got the money, I'll buy 3-4 3000's. It'd be nice to win a Stock A-Main anyways... Got 3rd 3-4 weeks in a row. I don't know what the hell happened Thursday night. Car wasn't even thinking about handling, and I couldn't find a good line. It was my first time with a sedan on the new layout.

mr4-malta, It's a carpet (ozite) track. 110'x50' I beleive. www.twincityhobby.com

Yeah, 3000s would be a must. Man, I bought some of the first panasonics, and they were crap! I mean, after one run, they were down to 2500, now they are at 2000, and voltage sucks! Bought 2 packs when the first came out...thought they were flukes. Anyway, 3 months later, I figured they would have got the bugs worked out, so I got 2 more packs...Still same thing.

I've got 3 4cell World Class SMH packs. They seem pretty good. When the time comes to get 3000's, I'll probably buy those.

And then I found out the people at my track run very hot motors... hehe, oh well. Stock is fun, Mod is probably MORE fun, but I'm happy where I am.

You do not need hot motor to have fun. I seen so many time that if you drive smooth you make up a lot the motor. I see guy come out with 8x1 and get the butt beat by a 12x3. So just get a good motor and have fun.

yea but the team drive can beat you with the 13x5 SP. I seen that happen too.

First time my friend came up to race(team Driver) ever one at are track had 10X2 9X3 10X1 and this was before 3000's. He came up and ran a 13x4 and beat ever one by a lap.

It dose no good to have a Hot motor in it, If you can not use all of it.
