Hi guys. Greetings from Malta.

Azmi. Go the other way. Open it up more to get the grit out quicker than it gets in.

If you look about a week back on this thread, I explained exactly how I did mine. I have had virtually no more problems with belts, gears, etc.

If you can't find it let me know and I will repeat.

Default Yok Special carpet set up w/foams?

Just got a Yok Special. I run on carpet with foams. I will not be running the one-wayS. Anybody have any good set up tips??

I'm thinking of getting an MR-4 TC R (the one that was very similar to the MR4 Rally).

I'm trading in a Yokomo YR4 M2 Type J for it... worth it? Stupid idea?

I'd say worth it, the MR-4 is a newer car, and you can always upgrade it to special spec. Good luck

The original TC can a bit, the newer cars with the one piece upper deck can twist but not flex end to end.

Simon, I think that is considered flex No, not nearly as bad as, oh I don't know, the PRO 3!

I don't think so, it depends on the track, low grip asphalt-No problem.
I've heard that you need a stiffer chassis for carpet racing indoors although I've never done it, many of the guys here have.

It works fine here, and it has really high traction. Still, it would be better if it was a bit stiffer, but we can work around it

My YR4 chassis seems quite stiff. Will it be any less stiffer than my YR4? (You can barely twist it almost).
