do the front aluminum cvd's wear fast? mine broke after just a few battery packs. i'm running dual one-ways, which could be the reason. i replaced them with steel universals, i hope these last longer.

Kentech- Congrats on the new position. Too bad you don't run the Yokomo anymore. When I ran the car your web page was more than helpful. Do what you can to get that por 3 up to standards. My LHS has pulled that line from the shelf. The car isn't competative out of the box and all of the hop ups that Hara and other team driver's are using aren't forsale to the public. In fact the last picture of the car is about 70% different from the kit they released. Isn't Schumacher in England??? If so do my fellow racers out here in Sacramento a favor....stop by their head quarters and ask them to PLEASE do some sort of quality control on packaging their kits and parts. People are still getting wrong parts in kits and hop up parts

Merry XXX-S mas to everyone

Congrats on the new position kentech, and best of luck getting the pro 3 working

Daniz, I also use the MIP shiny ones up front. I agree they are awesome! Though I did manage to bend one

Picked up the yokomo ride height/droop gauge (awesome) and a silent front belt. Feels a bit tighter at the moment, but given a few runs I'm hoping it will loosen up.

i have a yokomo 12t motor and 22/78 gearing, what gearing do you suggest me using so that it would give me more top speed without overheating the motor, damaging the comm, and gives me at least 5 min run?

thanks!

Hi guys. Greetings from Malta.

Great day racing today. We had our annual Christmas Cup event, which is a 3 final Mod T/C event.

Son Josh won 2 of the finals with his TC3 and I won the middle one with the Yoke. It was going like the clappers all day.

I had a bit of a panic yesterday evening when I noticed a serious nip in the front belt, and had to change it late evening.

I finished 4th in race 1 on the short circuit, followed by a win in race 2 on the long circuit, and 2nd in the third final which was on the oval........great fun.

The day started off with a damp track but luckily the weather improved and we got away without any rain. Shame it wasn't a championship round - I could have done with a serious dose of championship points.

The car set up was the usual - soft all round with roll bars.

Regards and happy Christmas.

Joe from sunny Malta.

Cool Kentech

Kentech,
Thanks for the site you provided for us Yokomo racers. It has been a great help in my setups and other info. Good luck at HPI. Hope you keep the Yokomo site upfor a while...might need some things on there for the future. Thanks again!!!

Hi everyone. I have just finished building and setting up my new special(just have to paint the body) and i am realy glad that i got it. I have had schumacher cars before, but the yokomo's quality and parts finish is just incredible. the car went together so nicely, and all the suspension movement and everything is just perfect. Right now i dont have any sprigs to tune the schocks with, so i put the 3hole pistons in the rear, and the 2hole in the front. What do you guys think?(with yellow springs all around). I run on a carpet track with rubber tires.

thanks for the help

I would have put the #3's up front and #2's in the back. I run #3's all around, with 40wt oil on carpet. You may want to get a set of green and orange springs for tuning also.

johbull, congratulations on the second place. Maybe beating your son will get him to race more

Default Dust cover for the gears

Hey guys,
I just bought an MR-4TC Pro and fell in love with it right away. I can now spank the engine driven cars easily. However, there is one problem with the unit. Dirts can easily make my gears and pulleys noisy and this is really annoying. Later, the car would slowed down significantly and pinion would self destruct.
Is there anyway I can effectively seal those moving components? I have tried covering it using a cut credit card but it is not 100% effective. I am now thinking about buying MR-4 rally cover but my ESC and motor will get hotter sooner.
Appreciate any suggestions from other as I am just a beginner.
