On the rear roll centers what do you get if you put them in the top position,more traction or less,I would think less,but I'm not sure.And what is the stock degree hubs on the rear..It's an mr4 special.Thanks for any help.

For those of you who haven't already, be sure to check out the ROAR Nats Car Pictures pages, there are some interesting modifications that Tosolini did to his car over the weekend.
Sadly, he was breaking left and right, and it pretty much trashed his weekend. He broke in both of the first two rounds, so after the resort he was in the "ugly" heat and never posted a good time. Then in the main he clipped a wall and it ripped the entire left-front suspension assembly out of the car. Bummer.

SUp all Any mods that would help out on the MR4-SP such as freeing drive train and stuff like that i need some serious speed with stock ive been working on the oykomo all day today and i made the car so that there will be no loose thing no woobles etc. so i really need your help.

Apart from the usual care keeping friction to a minimum, I went another step recently.
The angles of the MR4 drive shafts have always bugged me. In my book the ideal race car should have absolutely straight running drive shafts, for least friction. The Yoke's are aweful.
I straightened the rear ones up a bit by going for the long wheelbase arrangement - spacer in the front on the rear outer wishbone pivot.
I have now done a similar mod up front, moving the wishbones back 1.5 mm. To do this I filed 1.5 mm off the inner area of the front pivot support on the wishbone, which effectively allows the wishbone to move front and back. A spacer between the rear pivot support and the bulkhead and another between the front pivot support and the bumper for safety, moves the wishbones back 1.5mm.
The drive shafts are still not perfectly straight, and the vertical angle is all wrong anyway, but there is little we can do about those, short of putting a 1mm spacer between the chassis and the bulkheads. It would have been a thought for the future if I haven't gone all crazy about the new SD car.

HEAVY DUTY UNIVERSAL AXLES
Has anyone used the hd universals as replacement for the lightwieght blue universals?? Do they in fact last longer??
I have been wearing out the blue axle portion after about a month of use (I race 2x a week). They were at the point were the pin goes thru the dogbone to hold it to the axle...The were seem high and the replacement dogbones are not cheap...the front wear out nearly 2x as fast as rears....rear last around 2 months before they need to be replaced.

I recently switch to steel bones for the front as I run front one way and the blue aluminum have broken very easily.
I used them for around 25 packs and there is no problem with them, no wear, no breakage.
Go for them, it is not a bad investment.
