Not Mingfinity, but from the link
http://www.teamyokomo.com/japan/

It says 3/24/03 at 39,000 Yen. Not bad at all. SSG too.

So the new Yokomo is here, and it's a shaft drive, eh?

That car actually reminds me a lot of the Tamiya Evo III.

SO i guess thats the new yokomo right But i dont think they should bring that out its just a Copy of the AE TC3 like with the IRS chassis sorry to say this but its just like the TC3. ITs nice and all but i think soon the Belts will be a thing of the past well all i know its going to be an awesome car nonne the less. its going to be expensive so i'd better start saving up for it

I don't think it looks anything like the TC-3, other than having a drive shaft. I didn't even know it was new until I took a hard look at it and saw the drive shaft under the top plate.

Yeah its about time they put the MR4 series to rest they done alot to it. I was looking more into the SD and it reminds me of a MR4 still just NEwly Shaft thats all.Look carefully and youll see its A MR4-SP with SSG and Electrionics place like a TC3 and its shaft like a TC3.I my Mind the MRTC-SD is just a Yokomo MR4-TC SSG with Just a Shaft sorry to say but you know its True.Im For yokomo dont count me Out ill be getting there new car.But You know yokomo will come out with MRTC-SD 2 or SPecial etc. etc.AE started thje new concept of Shaft and Soon it will be all shaft no more belts.

Didn't Tamiya start the first shaft touring car, if I'm not mistaken! So AE shoudn't say anything about another shaft car being in the market!

I am happy that they are keeping the suspension geometry and a bunch of parts from the Special. It means lots of the stuff I already have will be compatible, and I have always loved the way the MR4-TC cars handle. Why change a good thing? If they were to re-engineer it, what exactly would they be looking to achieve?

My main issues with the Special were chassis flex and ease-of-work. The SD, at first glance, appears to fix/improve on both of those issues.

Some of you are saying the MR4-TC line is abandoned, but I don't see it. This is yet another option/variance on an aleady-proven platform. I have high hopes for it.

i think its a good idea that the new car will use the same suspension, first it damn strong, second it will be cheaper for parts. i dont know why they still have the servo mounted like that. every one has theres spun round any way.
