Penguin RC makes woven graphite material for the MR4TC, and www.speedtechrc.com sells them.

Would the Penquin toplate and shock towers fit on a SP? I might like to try something a little different on my car.

If you look around you can still find them. I had my local hobbyshop get me a new one 3 weeks ago. If you have a good shop they can find you one if they want the sale.

The new Yokomo probably won't be out until early next year.

Hi guys. Greetings from Malta.

Ran both Yokes yesterday - stock and mod.

Mod ran great as usual. In fact I'm actually lapping within a second of son Josh's times, so that can't be bad.

Stock is an identical new car. It's got the speed but despite being set up exactly the same as the mod car, doesn't handle so well yet.

I suppose I just need to spend a bit more time playing with it.

BIG DOG. How come you're selling?

Regards

Joe from sunny Malta.

Josh,
Selling two cars and some radio gear allows me to buy something nice and new . Hopefully nothing goes Bang! between now and then, costing me that little nest egg. Gotta get the front discs skimmed as they warped a bit on the day...at least thats fairly cheap!

NightkidZ,
4G63?
I should be so lucky. It's 4G93 and thats how it'll stay.

I had enquired with my insurance company as to the mods they'll let me do.
I listed EVO front mount I/C, 510cc Injectors, AFM, fuel pump....Bigger throttle body, lowered springs, (TD05 in the future??).
They said "No, they can't cover any of that" so it's stayed more or less factory stock, other than a K&N filter and 2.5inch(off the turbo)straight thru exhaust.

The pic is from a "Skyline enthusiasts club" website. I tagged along on one of there "Club only" sessions at a recent "open day" at Manfield racetrack.
This meant that the clowns with $500 cars(wannabe "Drifters") were kept away from us.

The car behind is an R32 GTR.

Simon : Hey at least the authorities on ur side allows mods
Where I am in this tiny island called Singapore, they have a blanket ban on modifying cars (1:1 scale of coz)
Following the law to the letter means you cannot even change the rims Man, and to think cars cost soooo much over here...... a Mitsu Evo 7 cost abt 90 000 US here

You guys are soooo lucky.... SIGH Singaporean motorheads are better off in RC..... we can modify our cars all we want and its so much cheaper.. plus the crashes dun hurt anyone... except our wallets of coz ehehehehehehh
