Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully they won't do like Losi and release a kit with absolutely no hopups.

Most likely the new car will be similar in looks and layout to the YMP option available for the MX-4.

Default mr4tc ?

i am looking at getting a new car i am over the tc3, so i am looking at the special mr4tc , and my ? is what hop ups is best to get for this kit , like the direct drive , and ect. ? thanks for your input and help. chris

Read down a bit and you will see it is possible that Yokomo will come out with a new car in the next 6 months. If you still want a special, it is a great car, go for it. I would leave the one-ways in, for durability parts you might want stronger front axels and some graphite shock towers.

thanks speedo, for the info. i heard that yokomo is comming out with another kit , but i just out of woundering i seen at speed tech this direct drive gear hop up. is this something good to get ? or what do you run ? thanks ...

LOL, what's the job?

Well since the kit comes with both a front and center one-way, installing the direct drive center pulley leaves you with just the front, if you want to go full dd, you need the buy a front diff. In general, the one-ways will be faster. If your track doesn't have much grip, or if your driving style is braking hard, you might want to go to dd.

What shoud be the recommended length of the front and rear shocks? Do you guys use the longer shock-ends for the front and shorter shock-ends for the rear as per instruction?
