Default 1/8 scale Ebuggy.....external BEC??

HW XR8sc and a Savox 2274. Do I need an external BEC to operate the servo at 7.4v? New to 1/8 scale and 4s stuff so I don't know.

Like ttr_racer said just adjust the internal settings of the esc....but just make sure your receiver is 7.4v compatable.....most modern 2.4ghz brands are but there are still a few out there that are 6v max( ie: some of the aftermarket dsm ones,etc....)
