Will AE Have A T6 Soon??

Properly weighted and trimmed can go a long way towards virtually eliminating parachuting in all but the worst winds. Suspension setup also plays a HUGE roll here as well. If the truck fly's nose high even a little due to the rear suspension being a little off, no amount of vent holes will prevent bad flight characteristics. I was surprised at how much this can be tuned when I started playing with nothing more than the body's angle and the rear suspension on my DESC410V2. Not one vent hole and that truck fly's so nice I had to write about it when it happened. Completely changed my perspective on SCT body tuning.

Well, the extra weight of a 4WD SCT helps against parachuting under normal conditions, honestly most of the time I didn't notice a definite difference between a vented and non-vented body on my SC10 4x4. On the much lighter SC10 RS 2WD however it was a different story.
On the topic of Stadium Trucks, I find it to be an interesting class. No races for it in Finland as far as I can tell, though, and never even seen a ST in person (except for my Losi 1/36 Mico, hah). One thing from a visual point of view though is that it's a bummer the 1/10 stadium trucks don't have a proper rear wing the way 1/8 ones do. The 1/10 pseudo-wing that is part of the body just looks lame.

yea 17.5 class is more popular than the mod class here in the midwest... but that's just because people are too pansy for a challenge. These things are heavy enough for me mod is the only fun way to run these trucks.

Where I am at we run mod outdoors. Closest indoor track is a 2 hour drive which runs both mod and 17.5.

AE could make a laydown option for their T5M. TLR recently did this for their 22T 3.0. but i doubt AE will make a T6, stadium trucks aren't exactly a booming thriving class

SC is heavier than a ST, and i see alot of places running SC 17.5, disagree with ST being considered MOD only, i believe it closes the class to many people

Keep the T5m ....
that way nobody has to buy a new truck and it keeps the playing field even.
