Default New 7.5 motor choice

Hey, just wonderng if can get any help over here.
Been running LRP flow and 6.5 X20 for a while in my buggy. Now switched to Hobbywing 3.1 esc and need a mew motor for it. Decided to go 7.5 as our track is to me a bit too small for 6.5 motor so here is my question:
What is tue best motor to get on the market? Was thinking to match it with esc and get Hobbywing 7.5 but, not sure. Have found that Fantom motors are good but also seen good words about Reds motors and Reedy. What about Orion new motors as well? Is too much of them on the market and hard to choose. Would really appriciate your imput guys.
Here is the list:
1. Hobbywing xerun V10 G2
2. Fantom racing FR1 V2 pro
3. Reedy Sonic 540 M3
4. REDS racing VX 540
5. Tekin Redline Gen3
6. Team Orion Vortex vst2
7. Maclan MRR
8. Motiv m code

Pretty much all of them from Amain

If you're coming from an LRP x20 and you're considering a hobbying or a reedy I would go for a the same wind again, a 6.5. Both these motors have a softer feel than an LRP in my opinion. The other brands I have no experience of.

I have tried 7.5 and is just perfect for our track. So will stick with 7.5 but just need to find out what to get...

Don't forget Murfdogg. Blueprinted motor for only $99. My son has been running their 8.5 in his SCT for a couple seasons and really likes it.

I am sure all that you listed will be good. It seems like stock is where motor choice is so important, mod not so much.
I like Orion they have always been super smooth.

I have the hobbywing xr8 with a hobbywing v10g2 7.5 in my tlr 22sct 2.0 and its awesome, truck hauls@$$.
It is super smooth and never gets hot, and we have had some hot days.
I am really on the hobbywing team now, soon as I have the bucks I am getting the wifi module, friend has it and I tried it out and it was great.

I have been using hobbywing v10 motors for a few years now in all my mod cars. They work great and are super smooth and consistent. Pricing is good as well, especially if you get the ESC/V10 combo. 7.5 is a great choice!

I can't speak of their 17.5 or 13.5 options but for mod motors they are great.
