Had a practice session today for 5 hours. Then I got prepared for upcoming race which means change all the oils (diffs and shocks), polish all hingepins, clean and lube all the ballends and links.
Finally set it up in a setup station for final adjustments.

Built a basic setup rc track in my small paddock
proceeded to bend middle driveshaft on my Helion 410SC (Plastic Chassis, not surprised)
took apart Helion.
Diagnosed horrible grinding/vibrating in car.
Realised (as stated above) that the driveshaft had bent.

On a happier note, am getting a good ass deal on a Team Durango DESC410R for $150 USD (in aus, about $200 here). Has spares, sanwa radio/receiver, savox servo, dynamite fuse combo, couple of sets of saddle packs, charger, etc. Gonna change some stuff out between the helion and Team durango, then sell off the helion to gain a profit. Win win!

Peeled the film and stickered it up! Fresh built 22 SCT 3.0 all that's left is to add the 30 grams it's "short"

That truck looked clean until the first run, lol! Put on front and rear sway bars and a fan on the ESC today. Put a LiFe battery in my 4PLS.

Also fired my 1/8th scale buggy yesterday for the first time in probably 6 years, ran like a champ even on old fuel. Nothing says 'merica like the smell of nitro fuel!

Snuck in a short session after work before the Mrs got home. Drove the xv-01 up and down the street. Made myself a mini rally course to run up and down sidewalks and driveways.

Struggled to solder an adapter with a cheap makeshift iron, then smashed my M05 into a pole
