I'd like to get a set of these new plastic body, aluminum top plated +3 hubs to run with my 22-4 on carpet, I hope once the part numbers drop they can be purchased separately. I like the look of this 2wd. I really like the Stifelzel shock towers with the inserts, some of us still land on our roof from time to time

Finally had a chance to watch the FB live build videos that generated a couple questions...
Is there any weight difference between plastic and stiffzell arms?
If you were building the car with titanium screws would you first use the steel screws to "cut" threads then replace with the Ti screws?
Any photos of the servo on back of braces? Specifically the bulkhead material mod
Otherwise great video and thanks for taking the time to do it Frank!!

Yes use the steel screws to cut the threads first. Put servo in back and mark where it hits the bulkhead. Slowly grind away till it clears.

What is gained by mounting the servo this way?

Mediocre! The old kit came with two sets.

(I'm just joking, the AE kits come with zero and only one transmission..)

Default 20mm Rie Height

Just working my way through the 22 3.0 and comments about putting the +3 hubs on and hrc block to correct rc at low ride height.

With kit ride height appearing to be 23mm, if i wanted to run 20/21mm ride height, would it better to use the +3 hubs and front spindle adjustment? In my mind this would keep the wishbone angle stock and rc and give the correct ride height.

Surface is grass in the UK of that matters.
Thanks.

Guess I would also need to raise the diff to get correct driveshaf angle. Looks like 20mm might be at the top of the carpet setup and bottom of the dirt set up.

Are there two sets of rear hubs (standard and +3) or are there two holes, high and low, in the same hub, does anyone know? I can't tell from the photos I've seen. TIA.

I think you'll be high diff, high axle for those tracks/ride heights, but it is a setup option and I'd check with some of your quicker local TLR team drivers for more specific insight.

Yes, Team Losi Racing

It will be available a little after the 22 4.0 hits the shelves, but on the way.
