It's going to cost approx £250 in the U.K, which isn't bad, although, it's another £95 for the upgraded transmission kit, if you want to put a powerful motor in it.

so excited so excited so excited

Hey Tony, can you find out if the wheels will be a standard modern size? Their renderings look like philips screws instead of flat heads. That's great.

The Cat had 2.2" rims, but their interface to the hubs were unlike anything else before or since. The wheels in the photos look the same.

I remember getting one of these as a kid and heading to the track for some "secret" testing while no one was around. Fun times! Might have to pick one up when they are released.

doing a few searches: original CaT didn't have 2.2 wheels, wheels were standard 1.9 of the period wasn't till 1989 worlds when Masami H. showed with 2.1 Yokomo wheels on his car, and where within the IFMAR rules as legal

put in my order but was fairly sure it did say they'd not take any money until the item was ready to ship

checked my credit card statement and it appears to maybe have been charged already.. amount is about right when converted. can't see who is the charge by yet

Might just be a pre-authorisation and not actually charged. Some vendors do this to hold the funds pending shipment.

Wow, that thing looks pretty cool! If vintage starts to get more popular may have to get one!
