So I'm coming down the home stretch with an RC10GT conversion from nitro to electric. Just need something to hold the battery...

The RC10GT uses 4-40 hardware.

What drill bit is used for making holes in a chassis similar to the ones already there? If I were going to tap that hole, I'd use a #43 bit... so I assume it should be a bit larger than that.

What bit is used to make the 82 degree countersink? I see all sorts of diameters for those bits...

An 82 degree countersink is what the tool is caused. Diameter for the counter sink doesn't matter as long as it is larger than the diameter head of the screw you are countersinking.

If you're looking for a hole that is slightly larger than the screw to pass through without threading it a 1/8" drill bit would work or 9/64 if you want a little more wiggle room.
