We just celebrated our 6th anniversary. To keep this thread on message I'd like to say that we are very excited that 4 wheel buggy is making a resurgence. We're equally excited about the B64. I genuinely hope the new Associated car is really good so that I can run one instead of a TLR or XRay. We have a thriving 4x4 class. Its unlimited but almost nobody runs anything other than a 13.5. Since we are outdoors and its getting cold out, race nights are getting seasonally thin. If you live anywhere nearby its a great place to run Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

While the B6 aluminum rear hubs will technically work, the B64 actually uses a differnt rear hub than the B6. The outer bearing is moved in to narrow the rear end, otherwise you are very likely to end up with a rear end that is an 'illegal' width. Which is also why the rear end uses a 5mm hex, to keep the rear end legal width ( even when the pivot width is wide).

The info all says 12mm hex but from the looks of the spec sheet on the AE site no wheels will be included so I think most people are wondering if existing wheels will fit from other cars or are we at the mercy or AE/Jconcepts/Proline to come out with wheels specific to this car. I know that's my question anyway

As mentioned before. If you really want to use a 10mm hex wheel you can, just drill a B44 hex out to 5mm for the axle and rock it. This method was used for early testing.

There will be a 61mm and 2.2" wheel that will be available. The 61mm is the existing wheel, the 2.2" is new to accommodate a 12mm hex.

Also, will any of the existing 2.2 wheels for TLR cars or anything fit?
