Correct. The remaining differences would be setup related.

Hard to believe that AE would go to the trouble (and cost) to box two separate kits without more meaningful differences between the two.

Hard plastics? Different shock/tower lengths? HRC pivots?

I guess we will find out. There should be an optional rear tower to accept the longer rear shocks...kit will ship with the 27.5 rear bodies.

Ryan Cavalry yesterday at OCRC with new B64. The body looks really good even though it was all white paint scheme. It looked just as fast as any other 4wd in his hands. I am looking for something for 13.5 4wd, I'm gonna wait for the new Tekno or maybe the new serpent SDX 4. Overall looks like a nice ride.

Are we thinking the aluminum steering AE parts for the B6 platform are going to work for this B64 platform as well?

Agreed - it sounds like the carpet version will be a few months behind the dirt version. So I also find it hard to believe it's 2 separate buggies, and releases, with a slipper being the only difference. Has to be more than that.

I would suspect it will be HRC suspension mounts as well. The team seem to be maxed out on their B6's when it comes to HRC on high traction. I would suspect HRC mounts for that buggy as well coming.

The B64 will be out soon, you know all the details about how it's configured, and you have a chance to lock in a good price on a buggy that will be popular for years. Tekno has released a video that says "we're building something with 4 tires, and you can buy it sometime in 2017". What company are you more confident will give you some fun for your hard-earned cash, the soonest?

Very good point!! Think I might pull the trigger on it!! Next question is I already have a brand new lrp x20 6.5 what is a good esc that won't break the bank to pair up with it? Also looking for some pointers to a good servo and shorty packs that are some what budget friendly. I'm going to give my 7 year old my b44.2 that is pretty much still brand new and daddy is getting a new toy!! That had a turnigy trackstar 120a turbo esc in it and was quite impressed and also a trackstar servo but with this new car it's gonna be my new pride and joy so I'm looking for a little bit better quality but still not gonna drain my pocket book!! I have been looking at the lrp flow works team esc but have never tried one so looking for any feedback for esc, servo, and shorty packs. Thanks guys!!
