Is there a release date yet? All I've heard is January.

I'm hoping once it does get released the thread gets flushed and cleaned up if all the speculation, repeat and panic posts.. including mine.....

That's not going to happen....RCBuddha will do an excellent job on the first page and the rest of us will just have to pick up on page 35ish.

Probably a dumb question, but never had a 4wd (have a b6d). For a small indoor dirt track (18-20 sec laptimes) that is medium traction....what would be a proper sized mod motor ballpark? Thinking an 8.5 might be good, but not really sure. I have a XR10 Pro ESC so could use softening or radio EPA to help maybe if it is too much power. Any help would be appreciated? Excited to get the b64d!!

8.5 is a solid wind.

Our track is smaller (about 13.5 - 16.0 sec lap times) and it seems like 10.5 is pretty common. I am running 13.5 blinky since I am seeing how things go with this whole 13.5 spec movement. From what I am seeing, Very driveable and only giving up a tiny bit of low end power so far in comparison to the 10.5 guys on this track size. Same track I ran 8.5 previously and it was pretty powerful for the track.

I myself prefer a 6.5 turn. It is a good all around mod motor for 4wd. Not to fast to be uncontrollable. It is very similar in speed the 10 turn brushed motors I use to run in the past.

I agree, 6.5 is pretty much the go to motor for most in 4wd buggy and what I run. Not always necessary though.
