Kind of off topic but I could never understand why after so long the manufacturers could never come up with a standard hex and offset that would be universal for every car (obviously specific to 2wd/4wd etc.)? It works fine on 1/8 buggy. Same with 2wd SCT, there are really two main trucks (AE and TLR) and they can't even agree on a standard wheel offset. Then to throw the whole buggy 2.2 vs. 2.4 debate on top of the hex size and offset argument?! I Know I'm not an engineer designing the cars and I'm sure there is some reason why a few millimeter offset difference makes a change in the way the car handles, but I would bet that 90% of the people driving the cars would never feel the difference.

Sorry, back to on topic. Can anyone tell if the turnbuckles are the same as the 44.3? I have a brand new set of ti ones from my 44.3 and was wondering if I could use them or not when I build it.

A standard off-set is supposed to be happening, from what I think I remember, it was supposed to be agreed what that would be at the 2015 Worlds.

Can't remember seeing what/if was decided.

Hey guys, any word on when the RC10B64.2 will be out? The discussion on the first generation isn't the greatest, so I'm hoping the discussion is better with the 64.2.

Thanks!

What!? The .2 is supposed to come out at the same time as the initial release of the B64D? This release cycle thing is getting ridiculous, I wish AE would be like X-Ray and wait a whole year between model releases.....

I read on the interwebs that the shock towers break, are they going to release stronger towers?

WOW, all these pages and most seems to be about the great debate of hexes and wheels, LOL.

The standard seems to be moving to 12mm for the most part anymore.

No not the .2, just the b64. Sorry thought that's what you were asking.

What about things like shock lengths and turnbuckle lengths. That's what I'd like to know ahead of time. I'd rather only build turnbuckles once.

It could be that they are coming out directly with the .2 based on the engineering and testing performed thus far on this forum.
