Getting excited, heard my local track (SDRC) should be getting their order in for the 64D Wednesday.

I will be sure to chime in, I have basically everything but front wheels to get it going but will probably take my time with the build and also 2 of those items are a servo and my motor out of an old wheeler that id rather replace so that may end up taking more time.

Also I will probably be taking it back apart a few times to change certain things as i'm sure different setups will be coming out soon.

I guess what i'm trying to say is I probably wont be the first to chime in on how well it handles lol.

I think the date is off by a week at least. There is no manuals up yet and Associated is typical to posting up 2 weeks before the car arrives to USA.

AE Stig said 2/14 is the date

There's an EOS event this weekend, I wonder if we'll finally see the Carpet Car

Maybe it doesn't need gullwing arms. The carpet will be LRC arm mounts and slipper and the main items.

What purpose do gullwing arms serve, other than to make less impact on droop when changing shock positions?

I understand that this is a tuning option on the B5/6 2wd cars, but without a definition of the change in geometry, it seems like "mystery meat"..

It just seemed like they might carry that thought process over from the B6. But what do I know...OK Everyone back to the usual debates

Less shock angle change through the sweep of the arm stroke IMO.

I think that's true, and I get how it works, I just think AE would be helping if they created a general scale explaining the progression of adjustment and if there's any overlap between the two setups, where that is.
