Questions?? Transporting an RC car on a plane

Hey people,
I am moving my stuff from one country to another and I want to take my RC car with me. Is it legal to take RC vehicles as luggage? I don't wanna take anything inside the cabin.

Lipo batteries could be an issue, might want to check with the airline to see what the rules are. Other than that can't see any issues. When I was flying RC planes we used to fly with rc planes and gear all the time when going to contests. I usually took my transmitter as carry on in a special case. TSA usually wanted to look inside the case, but never had any issues beyond a slight delay.

I used to bring my stuff to VEgas, Denver and Phoenix all the time. You can bring most car stuff as checkin baggage. You'll have to carry the lipid on though. I'm just weary about carrying any Lipos as is one for il in smoke so are the rest. I used to bring like 6-8 packs with me. TSA will just look at them. I'd suggest bringing no more then two

Lipos have to be in your CARRY ON. I carry on radio, cars and lipos and check everything else.

go look up "ShortcourseWorld" on youtube. Jason Snyder has a good video about it. Pretty much Brings batteries, Remote and Car in the carry on. This way if a bag gets lost.. at least you could bum a charge off someone until the rest of your stuff returns. Also this way you'll get to watch the "breakables."
