Default Anyone try Team Infinity engines??

Has anyone ever tried Team Infinity engines most notably the Samauri 521???

They don't look to bad and RDLogics sells them for $165!!

An add on E-bay said they are known in Japan as having the same reputation as OS, Novarossi, and Picco.....

That looks like a nice engine. Great price. I'd like to find some feedback on them myself. But I'd rather only buy once so a P5 for me please!!

The Team Infinity 512turbo is great for the price. $120US or so on ebay. I purchased one last year to get my feal for nitro touring with the intent to get a better engine when I got used to my NTC3.....I liked the Infinity so much that I never bothered getting anything else. I was at a 3day event last summer and qualified 2nd out of 18 guys in nitro. Since then a few other guys who ran better "name" engines bought the Infinity.
I have over 3 gallons through it and it still runs strong...the only thing I would think about replacing is the carb. I broke it in using the WOT method....worked really well.

Thanks Tandman- I had planned on getting 2 engines for my buggy anyhow.. one for practice and one to race..... This will probably be the first and depending on how it runs will determine what the other will be....

Why would you recommend replacing the carb? It looks like a 2 needle carb, correct?
