Now let's drop this and get back to talking about this awesome new truck.

I'd really prefer to upgrade rather than buy the 3.0 because I hate dealing with selling an old vehicle. But the shocks and chassis alone look like they'll be over $200, then there are quite a few more parts needed. If you have the new shocks already it might make sense money wise to upgrade rather than a whole new truck.
If you did the work I'm sure at least some people would appreciate the part numbers list even without the prices (I would).

I've got a 2.0 with the 22. shocks, Dogbone center driveshaft and aluminum casters so I'm thinking all I would need would be the new chassis, chassis braces, and new A-arms (that's if the old aluminum casters will work with the new arms).

Here is what I came up with. Like I said, pretty useless at the moment. When the parts get listed on AMain, I/we can figure out what is really needed (I think some of the parts listed here won't be needed since they come with other parts) (as an example, I listed the rear shock tower, but it comes with the new shocks so isn't needed separately).

TLR234066 Steering rack set w/bearing short/long $16.99
TLR231053 Chassis braces $9.95
TLR231050 Chassis $89.95
TLR232053 Pinion bearing spacers $5.99
LOSB3495 Wheel hex set with pins $7.99
TLR234068 Front spindle carrier set $8.99
TLR234069 Front arm set $13.99
TLR334025 Front/Rear Thick Sway Bar Set $13.75
TLR234067 Rod end set $7.99
TLR332015 Center Dogbone Driveline Set $29.99
TLR233022 Shock Piston 12mm, 1.0x5 (4) $14.99
TLR233023 Shock Piston 12mm, 1.1x5 (4) $14.99
TLR233021 22 3.0 +4 and standard spring cup set $9.99
TLR334029 Shock conversion set scte to 22 $116.99
TLR233020 Front spring set, hard (3 pr) $15.99
TLR231054 Battery mount set $11.99

These are different from 2.0 to 3.0 but I am not sure if really needed to upgrade to 3.0:
LOSA6251 5-40X3/16" Set Screw Discontinued
LOSA6283 4-40x5/8" Flat Head Screw $4.99
LOSA6248 4-40 Set Screw Assortment $4.99
TLR5962 3x10mm Flat Head Screws $4.99
LOSA6045 HD steering link set $5.99
LOSA6278 5-40x1/2” Button Head Screws $5.99
LOSA6271 5-40x1/2” Flat Head Screws $3.99
TLR234071 Steering bell crank set $7.99 SAME AS 2.0???????

Parts different from 2.0 but not needed to convert to 3.0 (because they come with other 3.0 parts)
TLR231052 Battery/chassis foam. (Come with 3.0 chassis)
TLR231051 Center diff plate. (Come with 3.0 chassis)
TLR334030 Rear shock tower. (Come with shock conversion set)
TLR5169 Rear Shock Spring Set (2.6 Rate/Red) (Shock conversion kit comes with Orange 2.9 rate springs, SCTE 3.0 comes with 2.6 rate springs) $5.99
Note: SCTE to 22 shock conversion kit comes with 1 pair of "+4mm" spring cups, TLR233021 is not needed if you are ok with not running "+4mm" spring cups on the back.

I have 22 conversion shocks but the original shock spring is bigger size than 22 shocks conversion. Do you know any compatible spring shocks? It seems the spring came with the kit is soft.

TLR offers the "hard" springs for the front. That's what the 3.0 comes with. (Not sure which pair exactly)

So your saying the 22 conversion shocks are different than the 3.0 shocks?

No the 22 conversion kit is the same as a 3.0. The 3.0 base setup shows a purple front spring I am not sure what the color is for the front springs on the 22 conversion kit

One of the beautiful things about the 22 shock conversion (same as 3.0 shocks) is you can use the wide variety of 12mm big bore shock springs. TLR offers a huge selection but you can use springs from Kyosho, Avid, AE and others now as well to make tuning options almost limitless if you so choose.

I meant to include the AMain link to the springs in my previous post. https://www.amainhobbies.com/team-lo...233020/p469139 There is a purple spring there. In the manual the part number shown for the front springs is the hard spring set, so I'd think it's that purple spring that comes in the kit.

Casper maybe you can answer this question for me I was going through the manual on the 3.0 truck online and I noticed that there is no screws set in the front of the truck's chassis for the down stop screws to rest on.But the manual shows the screws for the back of the truck. Is this a misprint in the manual?

I don't think they were added. It was a comment we had when testing the chassis but not sure they put the holes in but I can't say that definitively. Frank will need to confirm.

No i am saying the spring sizes if you have the original shocks spring your SCTE 2.0 is bigger the hole compare to 22 shocks conversion spring. The spring kit came to the 22 shocks conversion is soft even shock colar almost all the way down to get 28 minumum ride height since my local track the minimum ride height is 28mm
