Are there any common parts to replace on this truck right away? Most likely to break first parts? Id like to have replacements ready to go before I hit the track.
Also, in the 3.0 manual I see a part number for 3 sets of front springs(HARD) Is there a rear kit like this?

These things are tanks, not much breaks. I think I'd go for an aluminum servo horn first, then maybe spare front/rear arms, and rear hubs. Maybe a spur gear... but that's about it. I haven't broken any parts during testing except a front arm, but we fixed that and not one broken one since, not even dropping it 7' on to concrete...

I suggest a set of clamping wheel hexes, part numbers are in Frank's post.
You wont lose any drive pins with them.

You will wear out parts more than break stuff.
As mentioned a spur is a good idea, 30 mph abrupt stops can make a motor move.... not the trucks fault.

In 4 years I think I've broken one arm. Inside hinge pins can bend....

If you run a lot, diff cases are a good idea.... if you blow a bearing where the pinion (ring and pinion) shaft comes out of the case it often totals the plastic around the bearing....

Why do people bag on the 2.0 version of this truck saying that the outdrives and dog bones are always wearing out quickly, and this wears out and that wears out quickly and you're constantly replacing parts. Other manufacturers trucks never break or wear out parts, blah blah blah. I've never owned a Losi 4x4 truck, so I'm just going on hearsay. I do have the tlr 22sct 2.0, and I have yet to wear out or break a part on that.

If you are referring to my post, I didn't mean to imply quickly. I run the truck almost every week. It's a beast, but things do wear. In the big picture, they aren't as beefy as 1/8 based vehicles, but are subjected to similar loads, so maintenance is a requirement.

No I wasn't referring to your post at all. But it did make me think about what people have said online, or even the guys that drive the 2.0 at my local track. The main drawback to the 1/8 scale based trucks in my opinion is the weight.

Will this truck share the same shocks as any other TLR vehicles? If so, which one? I'd like to purchase some different shock springs and components ahead of time. Thanks!

Also a bit off topic, if anyone would like to recommend a motor combo and steering servo feel free to PM me

With the right turn 550 2 pole, the truck will be just as fast if not faster.

Why a 2 pole and not 4 pole? What will the 2 pole do for the truck?
