Ok thanks Frank. I kinda figured the grease had something to do with it, but it seemed blacker than it should be. As long as it's not hurting anything... cool

In racing lips battery electric buggys/trucks, do y'all repeak the lipo battery just before you set it on the track like we did to nicad's in the early 90"s ?

If your at the track and don't have your shock oils with you and the rear of the truck is chassis slapping, is there any thing I can change or do? Thanks in advance.

You can try to move the shocks out and stand them up . Outer hole on the arm and outer most hole on the shock tower. Truck will turn a bit different after that

Yeah I would have to say the two best chargers on the market right now would have to icharger and the FMA/cellpro powerlab series.
I have had both, but really like my iCharger the best of the two even though they both as as good as the other in function.
The two chargers I mentioned can update firmware for new chemistry as they develop like the upcoming high output lipos.
Either way these are the best and aren't really rivaled by any of the comp in ability or power.

People use the iCharger 4010 to charge real electric cars. Nuts!

The down side to these chargers is that you will need an external power supply.
The good side to this if you're a tinkerer like myself, you can buy a redundant PSU from a server on Amazon for $20 that you can soider a couple wires to and create your own 12v 850watt PSU, which is exactly what I did.
I also made my own charger case that houses connectors and the PSU.

What would be the must hv upgrades when buying this truck?......the main ones I can see to make it bullet proof are pinch bolt wheel hexes, alloy diff inserts, alloy steering horn.......anything else I would need guys?

Truck is durable. I would start with X-Ray diff washers during the build.
http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...oof-diffs.html

Buy the 59mm rear hinge pins, a couple of longer screws for lower front shocks. Use quality tools that fit the screws during build, specifically for the small diff screw heads. Consider some different springs. All this has been covered in thread. Its a short one at this point. Be worth your time to read it all before it gets to big.

WOW! Over the top on that setup. I'm not worthy That's a great charger and awesome containment system. No doubt about its capabilities.

Thing is, I never used all the functions they offer. Simple seems to be best for me. I like the high power and ability to charge multiple batteries though. It is good to know when you buy one of these the charger is never outdated. It has flexibility to change and be update for new lipos as you said.

You need to be selling those boxes, case, system or whatever you want to call it.

I WANT ONE! Sell me a box like that. I'll modify it to fit whatever charger I buy next. Need a digital touch screen, dual or quad charge ports, 12-15 amps output on each channel and good backlight on display.
