I wish the days dragged by slow. They go by way too fast.

Should be 9/7 or 9/8 from Horizon.

Looking for that Horizon ship notification everyday. Lets see, new tires glued, check. New tip on my driver, check. Paint supplies, check. Receiver, check. Transponder, check. Hitec servo, check. Dedicated spot in pit trailer, check. Make room on trophy wall..... in progress.

Frank, feel free to send mine out first. I don't mind driving the first 3.0 on my track.

Back to my checklist to make sure I'm ready

9/7 or 9/8 is pretty solid.

Isn't there something different about the drag links? I can't find that information again reading through here

Drag links? There is a new ball cup for the steering links to clear the front wheels more. Also ball bearing ackerman plate. Also new bell crank arm with better clearance and the arm is flipped so it does not clash with the ackerman plate. All those little details.

Yes drag link...
You guys have coined this as an "ackerman plate".
Realizing ackerman adjustment is the secondary function of the thing determined via it's length is why I called it a drag link like most people do.
I probably confused the question a bit by using link in plural. (links)
Did that because I know the are more than one to choose from for ackerman adjustment purposes.

Anyhow you more or less confirmed what I wanted to know, telling me it now has the bearings.
So is it the long or the short link that comes stock with the 3.0?

Most of us have been using the short. I believe past kits included both so i would expect the same with the 3.0.

No, the past kits only came with the long link. At least mine and the few I know who run the SCTE chassis' tell me.
I bought the short link and like the way the truck handles through the turns much better than with the long one. Initial turn in was improved considerably.
I bought the vision racing carbon fiber ball bearing link for my 2.0 Never has generated slop of any kind with those bearings, so I understand why you guys went this way with the new kit. It's a welcome revision for sure.
