TLR SCTE 3.0 Thread
#136
where i can find a orion 550 2p motor #ori28296 ?
#137
Why? What does it do for me?
How does the benefit of angling the rear of the motor out (away from the center) on the 3.0 (reducing the front driveshaft angle and increasing the rear driveshaft angle) compare to the benefit of moving the front of the motor in (toward the center) and reducing the front driveshaft angle while increasing the rear driveshaft angle in the King Headz chassis for the SCTE 1.0?
BTW, I run loose dirt. Only loose dirt. Tires like Blockades and Calibers. Occasionally Bowfighters.

No plans, we never moved many of the kits for the SCTE before.

Is there a parts list yet for converting a 2.0 to 3.0?
#143
I went through the manuals and made a list of every new part, but it's really useless right now without being able to get prices of each part off a site light A-main.
I'd really prefer to upgrade rather than buy the 3.0 because I hate dealing with selling an old vehicle. But the shocks and chassis alone look like they'll be over $200, then there are quite a few more parts needed. If you have the new shocks already it might make sense money wise to upgrade rather than a whole new truck.

Frank looking at the manual on a 3.0 and noticed that the front down stops screws touch the chassis is that correct or is there a set of screws that thread into the chassis so you're sitting on steel to Steel instead of steel to aluminum

Axel Size
I'm looking the buy the hudy 1/10 off road set up station for the 22 3.0 and the new Scte 3.0. Can anyone give me the axel sizes? The set up station only works with 4.7mm or 3/16' axels.

I try to proof read my comments or questions before I submit but sometimes I miss some words

No, it wasn't directed towards you. I was just making a general blanket statement. My phone does the same thing. My smart phone is stupid. I know how it is. I send a text to a friend that makes me sound like I'm on dope or something. All I'm saying is everyone just needs to chill about typos. If you look at a sentence that doesn't make sense like the guy that said his son was named Losi towers or something, two words were backwards. if you look at it you can figure it out.
