The 1/8 Diff Trays are specific to each brand. We made the trays to where they fit each cars outdrives. This was done so that during diff rebuilds, the diffs will not tip over.

I would go with the 3x1.5+1 XV2 front and rear

two questions:

- For the new yokomo shock shafts for the YZ2-DTM that use a screw to hold the piston on instead of the e-clip, will you be confirming what pistons to use as well as a way to get the current ones to work if possible?

- For the new Tekno EB410 1/10 4wd buggy, will there be a piston package made for it?

Also wondering if I can modify any pistons to fit the Schumacher KD. If the piston diameter is the same and thickness. I really like the idea of these pistons but do not want to buy some and relize I should try adapting another style.

The same situation with the Xray, I just made a groove for the e-clips from below, the end mill 6mm in diameter

We will find out about the new Yokomo shafts that use the screw rather than the e-clip.

We will look into the Tekno EB410 here very soon as well.

Due to how thin the Schumacher and Xray 1/10 pistons are, we are unable to make our XV2 piston for those cars. More companies need to get with the times, and do what AE did, get rid of the e-clips.

I hear that some guys with xrays are using Associated shafts to use your pistons. Is this something that one should explore. Can you help with this

This is a bad move. The piston to shock body wall clearance is loose. You will end up with too much slop in the system and possible binding. It just fits, not the right solution.

Using AE shafts on the xray would be ok, just make a larger piston that won't have so much slop to fit xray shock body.

If I'm using the new Yokomo screw-top shafts, do I need the Associated v2 pistons? Are they a perfect fit? Thanks

Check out our Prototype B6.1 Front Shock Towers. We were able to utilize proprietary cad knowledge to replicate the approximate position of the new holes. These are a couple original protos. Were also gearing up to make our own carbon panels. Mike has 20 years of composite experience and has said our in-house carbon panels will be 3D Weave.....Google it......nothing better.
