Thats what happened. If you purchased the EU V2 pistons for the AE, you have to run the included washer on top of the piston. That is what helps hold the X washer and Valve down.

You need the Associated V2 EU Pistons-

The pistons you purchased are for the older AE style shafts that use an eclip. You need the EU pistons that say "Associated V2".

Anyone notice the EU V2 pistons on the rear of the B6 stick out a little bit too far? The screw head hits the top of the shock cap at full compression.

I think the stock piston is really close, so with the extra washer on top, it hits and the shock doesn't compress all the way.

I dont see the spring cup on the shaft at your picture, so this will limit the uptravel a little bit more!

Exactly. The spring cup acts like a outside limiter of sorts.

And speaking of that battery strap... why does your site list it as in stock when it actually isn't?
Kinda a pain to purchase something to hear nothing regarding shipping till you send an email almost a week later.. only to find out you don't actually have it and it'll be another week on top of that before it ships...

If you can also post a more current picture of what is included with the cnc strap? I got button head screws (which are fine by the way) but the pics make it look like flat head screws with blue washers are included. Can cut down on confusing I am thinking.

i did install the towers I have here on my personal car, look very nice!

The black battery straps are in stock. The blue we did run out of and are anodizing a new batch that will ship this week. I apologize for that. We do our best to keep everything in stock. But, one good thing about us compared to others is we can have anything that is out of stock back in stock very quickly. We will have a batch of blue straps ready mid week.

We will do some updated pics of everything included. The instructions will be posted this week as well. Glad to hear you like the towers. We have sold bunches of them.
