Why would you use the 1.4 3 hole on the rear vs 1.6 (all around)with shocks on front of rear arm? Will this give more grip or is this for a higher bite you are assuming because of the shock setup? I've seen many setups with ge 3 hole on the fronts... I'm ultimately looking for more grip. Thx!!!

Thx

The 3x1.4 in the rear gives a feeling of more pack. To me, the B6 with laydown and gullwing front arms/tower has a very balanced feeling with 3x1.4 front/rear on a med-high bite track.

will you be posting instructions on how to put the battery strap on properly? I hear of guys using the exotek instructions as they don't have any for the VRP and they look similar.

Thank you. I also have an RB6.6 I have the VRP 1.6 pistons and the 1.4 3 hole lying around. I noticed there were no 1.7 when i purchased them. Which would you reccomend for the front and rear for the same scenario? Looking for more grip. Or should i just purchase another 1.6 set? thx again

You mention the B6 running 3x1.4 all around, how about a B6D for medium high bite clay?

I also just got 3x1.3 XV2 for the front and 3x1.4 XV2 for the rear of my SC5M. Running 32.5 all around for oil. Is this a good base to start from, or should I be using different pistons.

Yes,we will make some instructions soon so there is less confusion when installing it.

Most of the setups i've seen for the 6.6 use either 3x1.4 all around or 3x1.4 front and 2x1.6 rear. I would say the 2 hole in the rear would aid in more rear grip.

On the B6D, it depends on if you are running the rear shocks on the front or rear or the back arms. But in general, a good starting setup for the B6D is either 2x1.6 front/2x1.7 rear or 3x1.4 front/ 2x1.6 rear. Depending on the temps, 32.5/30 or 30/27.5 is a good starting place.

Shocks on rear for the B6D. Thanks for the starting point.

How about the SC5M?

So, for having the shocks on the back of the arm, I would definitely start with 2x1.6 front and 2x1.7 rear.
