TLR 22 SCT 1:10 best esc+motor and tires?
Could any one reccomend me best combo for this SCT truck, and racing tires?
Right now will be racing mostly outside - dirt etc, but in winter maybe few carpet races..
Looking for Castle Creations Sidewinder Motor Castle 1410 3800kv combo?
And for tires ProLine 'CALIBER 2.0' SC M3 TYRES 2,00?
Good idea? Many thanks for reply from experienced racers

Get the Mamba Max Pro over the sidewinder. Much higher temp threshold plus there are more options in Castle link to play with. If you run a high draw servo then also pick up a glitchbuster.
I run the AKA Chainlinks but we run indoor and a packed dirt/clay mix. Check to see what other people at the track are running and follow suit.

i would go with a sensored system in 2wd.
why does everyone starting in 2wd sc want to use the castle 3800 kv motor?
HERE IS A CLUE PEOPLE. IT'S TO MUCH MOTOR FOR 2WD!!!!! get a 8.5 turn
or even a 17.5 and gear up. much easier to drive.
good outdoor tires, blockaids or impacts work on most track.

Post in the main 22sct 2.0 thread for the best responses.
I agree with avoiding the Castle system if you're serious about racing. Go with a Hobbywing 3.1 Stock Spec and a 10.5 motor.
Tires? Find out what's hot at the track you will be running. Period. If it's indoor clay, then clay dirt webs (or similar from AKA or Proline) will be the best blind bet. But really, you need to check what they're running at your track. Outdoor and loose could be Blockades, Calibers, Cityblocks, etc.
