Cleaner/coating?
Not so much a cleaner but what is the best thing you have found to spray on your cars to keep dirt from sticking to them??

Lemon pledge works really good and cheap. Spray it on and brush it in then blow off with air compressor.

I use this stuff (wd40specialist.com/products/dry-lube/) and it works great. Relatively cheap - comes in a big can, can buy it in the "Auto" part of Home Depot for about 6 bucks/can. Really cuts down on dirt build up and keeps the suspension/pillowball joints smooth and squeak free.

Tag body spray, then Lemon Pledge.

Try it. Put the Lemon Pledge down before the Tag evaps.
Just avoid electronics and flame. Ironically, the Pledge lubes the hinge pins better than WD40. And Pledge is too thick to get in electronics and hurt them, while WD40 is a penetrating electronic death.
Honda's pro motorcycle shine is the same thing as Pledge without the lemon scent. Just read the label.
Kalgard Prep&Shine is similar as well. Kalgard P&S is the best for cleaning RC's, as long as you're wealthy.

Over the years I've used just about everything I could find/think of at one point or another,
Some worked really well, some did ok, and some never seemed to be as good as I that they'd be or could have been.
The two favorite ones I liked the most, and worked the best were the Kal-Gard Pro Shine and Upgrade Gloss restorer. They were truly a one step product that not only cleaned but shined/waxed all in one step. Both were super slick stuff which was very good for chassis/chassis protectors. Sadly both are no longer available that I am aware of. I really wish they were, I buy it in a heart beat.
I've been trying to find another product that is the same or very similar and as of yet, everything I thought would be what I was looking for, hasn't panned out.
So I've been using other stuff that's kind of ok or works just enough to get the job done.
Pledge
Maxima SC-1
Motul
Karl-Gard Prep and shine (I still have some around)
Protek Pro Shine
Lucas Oil Slick Mist
All of the above will work, though you may have to use another cleaning product like simple green or the like first to get better results. The one thing I personally was really after the most was a non aerosol type of product for use on Lexan which seems to be not the easiest thing to find at times.

Go down to the dollar store. Buy some awesome spray bottles and some 4 inch wide brushes. Combined with compressed air if you have access. Follow up with one of the other mentioned silicon shine type sprays. See what you have around the house first.
No real #1 answer. Experiment and see what works for you. I recommend using stuff you already have first. Be smart about your electronics. Lots of people say this or that won't hurt them, buts its gonna be your wallet if they are wrong.
