Charts for Quick reference:

1) put inner bearing in hub
2) slide large shim over axle all the way up to the back of the axle
3) slide axle/bone into hub carrier
4) slide small shim onto axle through hub carrier
5) push outter bearing into hub carrier

using that i'm able to put my normal male silverback gorilla wheel nut tightening job and there's no binding. in the pictures that come with the shims (the pic socket posted) it seems like they want you to slide both shims onto the axle before sliding the axle into the hub carrier and like i said, that doesn't work.

I've traditionally done the diff screw head on the left side (driver's side), but have since switched to the Right side (passenger side) regardless of transmission type (3 gear RM vs 3 gear MM and 4 gear MM).

Kdub (Kurt Wenger, former AE designer) had this to say on the matter:

The right rear is the way the AE manuals state (or used to state). It really shouldn't matter since you go around turns both left and right.

The last car I pre-ordered and got on release day was the T4.2 Factory Team. I don't remember there being so much uproar about that kit

Have to admit, the speculation has been a great time waster lately.

I got this message from towerhobbies.

"Hi Leigh, you're very close the front of the line and will get a B6D kit. Per the manufacturer, nobody is to release any of them until they give the go-ahead to prevent any distributors from having an advantage over another...you're in very good shape...they probably won't allow shipment this week this week, but soon after that. The August date is when our following shipment is due...shhh! Thanks for your order!"

Back to mid July dates I see.

Here is an easy tracker for Tower:

Both kits on speed click.

What a crime, E-Cash promotion ending on Thursday July 7. I have to wait until August.

sounds legit, 11 is roman numeral two. the B44 series was the first 4x4 buggy platform and the new bugg will be the second. which in roman numerals is II like the 11 in the b6 sale date. bam we cracked the code

Yeah, we may have to lock this thread and start a new one once the kit goes on sale.

As for worldwide hard to police them over there on coordinated launches. There are hardly any rules sometimes.

I have to admit I ALMOST left the lhs with a Losi 22 3.0 yesterday. I decided to wait the extra week for a Associated kit to come out. So Losi packs 2 sets of wheels...their laydown transmission conversion costs $180.00. I'll get the AE kit, but come on guys, toss in a set of wheels. White! We can dye them our favorite color. Looking at stock class for now, slowly upgrading the important parts, then someday jump up to mod.

I would rather spend $10 on wheels, than 180 on a laydown.... and the b6 is still $20 dollars cheaper than the tlr car....
