Sorry for the dumb question guys but I am new to the whole MIP puck thing as it came with my buggy so I don't know much about them.
Anyway, I think I have this based on how it looks:
https://www.amainhobbies.com/mip-puc...p16080/p520428
in my haste I thought all I needed was this:
https://www.amainhobbies.com/mip-b6-...p16041/p532350
but when I got it all together (of course then) looking at reasonable levels of droop the part that goes into the outdrives appear to be coming out.
Anyway, what would be the right part to be able to use the gear diff setup from MIP, I am thinking bones but not sure what to order? Is it this:
https://www.amainhobbies.com/mip-ass...p16040/p531932
and considering mine has what appears to be that two piece assembly of the bone (the gun metal to black part the "yoke"? ), does this replace that completely? (sorry just don't want to order and find out I am wrong).

Cain, I ran into the same problem, see posts 4130 and 4153 of this thread.
If I see what you're doing correctly, you wanna use the 17.5 bi-metal drive shafts with the gear diff. See post 2470, I list out the parts I used.
I dealt with MIP directly on this issue. Right now, if you wanna use the 17.5 bi-metal driveshafts, you're married to the ball diff. If you want to use gear diff then you need the 16040 which are the rollers, not pucks, and not bi-metal.
Otherwise, your driveshaft will pop out of the outdrive at the most inopportune time, wrecking your outdrive and driveshaft. Ask me how I know.

I currently have the steel weight under the servo and and the heavier brass weight under the battery, nothing in the back. Driving on astroturf

If I add more weight up front will I gain low speed steering or high speed? I need more high speed grip on power in the turns and have plenty of off power steering.

B6D setup question: Assuming you are going to run the vehicle stock other than say the laydown transmission, how much do you change setting wise to get say close to the start B6 setup on carpet?
I may pickup another B6D for my daughter, I run it more B6 right now the one I have, but I figured if I can say setup like "X" as recommended by you guys here I can have a decent starting point for her.

That also changes the rear toe.. would put it at 2 degree toe and 2 anti squat

Speaking of toe...
What are some of y'all running yours at? Front and rear?
