I think it's the transmission that dictates whether the shocks can be mounted in front or not. So I think technically you can move the shocks forward on the B6D, but you'd have to have the laydown installed. So their spec sheet is either slightly misleading (needs an asterisk), or it's a typo like you said.

I hope someone can clarify this. Why would the change in trany mean that the shocks can't be mounted in front? The chassis is the same so the outdrives should be in the same location right? Well if that is the case then all that one would need to do is to make a brace that attaches the transmission to the tower? I have to take a better look at the pics again.

Look at the top down picture....Im going to guess that the gear cover is keeping you from moving the shocks to the front of the arm in B6D config...That and based on the location of the tower on the B6D trans, you would need to space the shocks quite a bit forward at the upper shock mount.

will there be a rear motor option for this buggy? just wondering, thinking the B5 will be dropped?
