I've traditionally done the diff screw head on the left side (driver's side), but have since switched to the Right side (passenger side) regardless of transmission type (3 gear RM vs 3 gear MM and 4 gear MM). Kdub (Kurt Wenger, former AE designer) had this to say on the matter: I think I count as an authority on the matter. I always run my diff screw on the right side (when sitting "inside" the car). I take off the tire and pull the outer hinge pin to get to the adjustment screw.
The right rear is the way the AE manuals state (or used to state). It really shouldn't matter since you go around turns both left and right.

2 questions. How many are switching to front rear shocks and why ?
And what are racers choosing to use more often. Standard servo or low profile short servo ??

Okay gents, I just bought MIP Roller Pucks™, Gear Diff Kit, All AE B6, #16040. For the gear diff, do I still use the spacers MIP provides? Or is that just a ball diff thing?

Hey everyone, My brother and I both picking up the B6D kit and are looking for advice on a motor esc combo. I would like to try and stay below 200 bucks if possible.
I currently have a CC Sidewinder SCT and really enjoy it in my 22 sct 2.0. I cannot tell a difference between that and my sensored tekin rs gen1.
My local track appears to run mostly mod class but i would like to be able to drop a stock motor in to race at other venues.
I was thinking the below setup.

Reedy 1000Z is a good affordable ESC that's easy to program and you can put any motor on it down to a 5.5. Their motors are good too. My son is running the 1000Z with a 17.5 Reedy motor with no problems this year

Servo wise, I felt that the front end had more weight than I liked with the full servo so I went low-pro and like it a lot better. Plus I can always add about 10g to get back to full servo weight.

Then find a motor that suits you. I am liking the maclan line up of motors myself but there are other options, including some on the cheap for about $50 new.
I would also pickup there LCD Programmer personally just easier to do adjustments. Hobbywing also has more ESC options with more power, etc. depending on what you want.
